Product Description

EGFR and KRAS genes are involved in cell growth regulation and mutations in any or both genes can induce unregulated cell division, leading to cancer. Using CleanPlex amplicon sequencing technology for targeted DNA from Paragon Genomics, BioChain selected FFPE tissues from various tumors to screen against these two genes for mutations, which would facilitate our scientists with downstream applications, such as developing new screening method, target validation, digital spatial profiling and histology, or as control. Many of the lung and colon cancerous tissues we provide here have mutations detected for both genes, with the exception of one lung sample - lot. C706668 does not have KRAS mutation but carries several EGFR mutations.
