CNMCS Compartmental Protein Extraction Kit: Buffer M

Overview

BioChain’s compartmental protein extraction kit provides a simple, reliable means to isolate proteins from cells and tissues, and separate them into cytoplasmic, nuclear, membrane, and cytoskeletal fractions.  A complete set of buffers, proteinase inhibitors, and protocols are included with the whole kit, product # K3013010.  This item, catalog number K3013010-4, is just the buffer M from this kit, which is required to collect the membrane fraction proteins.  The components for the CNMCS kit are available separately, so you can replace any that become contaminated or get spilled.

Description

As BioChain has been isolating proteins and nucleic acids from myriad cells and tissues since 1994, we have developed simple, cost-effective, and efficient means to isolate proteins from pretty much any tissue or cell.  After developing our expertise in protein isolation, we took many of our best techniques and kitted them, so that our customers do not have to “reinvent the wheel” while they pursue their own protein extraction and purification experiments.  Our CNMCS Compartmental Protein Kit goes one further, and simplifies the process of separating proteins based on which cellular compartment they call their primary residence.   The component described here is buffer M, which allows researchers to recover membrane proteins.  Each of the components of the complete CNMCS kit, including the buffers and our proteinase inhibitor cocktail can be purchased separately, or as the complete kit.  For the complete kit, see catalog number K3013010.  If you need a kit that isolates proteins from the cytoplasm, nucleus and membrane fractions, but do not need the cytoskeletal fraction, see catalog number K3012010 (CNM Compartmental protein kit).
