Two adult murine cell lines were used: MSCs (non-GFP-expressing strain C57Bl/6J; Texas A&M Health Science Center, Institute for Regenerative Medicine, College Station, TX, USA) for osteogenesis, and EPCs (BioChain Institute, Hayward, CA, USA) for angiogenesis.
