… …Frozen dissected organs from six-week-old C57BL/6 mice were a gift from Nathan Watson (Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center). Total RNA was extracted from pooled organs of two to four mice or from cell lines with Trizol Reagent following the vendor’s recommendations. Total RNA, 5 or 10 µg, was routinely loaded onto 12% urea-polyacrylamide gels as described in [50]. Total RNA from human organs was acquired from the Biochain Institute.
