Overview

BioChain’s human adult normal total protein western blots (WtHAN) are designed for rapidly screening tissue specific protein expression in human adult normal tissues. We offer a series of WtHAN blot with total protein isolated from different normal adult tissues in various combinations. Human placenta total protein is included in each blot as an interblot control for comparison between different western blots. Each lane contains 50 µg of protein.

BioChain’s tissue products are based on the sample repository network established following the IRB-approved ethical standard and procedures. The repository covers a wide variety of species and diseases, including human adult and fetal normal tissues, human diseased and tumor tissues, as well as mouse, rat, and monkey tissues. Patient demographic and disease related history data are available.

Total Protein Western blots are manufactured using high quality proteins from the tissue repository. Proteins are isolated from these tissues using BioChain’s proprietary techniques. The proteins are separated by 4-20% gradient SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis, and transferred onto a PVDF membrane. Human placenta protein is used as an interblot control in each blot. A 10 kd to 250 kd pre-stained protein marker can be visualized on each blot. These blots are suitable for use in both radioactive and non-radioactive detection. They are supplied ready for use so that you can immediately screen the protein of interest without the hassle of obtaining hard to find tissues and processing the proteins yourself.
