BioChain’s mouse endothelial progenitor outgrowth cells (mEPOC) are isolated from bone marrow of 7-8 week-old C57/Bl6 mice and further cultured in vitro. Our mEPOC product is delivered at the 9-10th passage, either as cryopreserved or proliferating cells. Our mEPOCs have the spindle morphology common to endothelial progenitor cells.
Endothelial progenitor outgrowth cells (EPOC) are isolated from samples using our proprietary technology. EPOCs are delivered at the 4th passage, either as cryopreserved or proliferating cells in culture flasks. Each cryovial contains >5 x 105 cells in 1 ml volume. Products in 24-, 96-, or 384-well formats and ready for screening use are also available upon request. Except for the common endothelial cell cobblestone morphology, EPOCs are characterized and quality-controlled by vWF/Factor VIII immunostaining, LDL uptake and lectin binding. Human donors are negative for HIV-1, HBV and HCV, and detailed donor profiles are available upon request. Our EPOCs are guaranteed to further expand for at least 2-3 population doublings under the defined conditions.
