Introduction to Human(Prostate Cancer)

Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in American men. The PSA serum test has been a very useful method for early detection, however, test results include a high rate of false positives and false negatives. New markers have been discovered as potential diagnostic tools for prostate cancer. Because prostate cancer is often a less aggressive cancer, biomarkers that identify the aggressive types are important for treatment of the disease.
