Universal cDNA
Introduction to Universal cDNA
BioChain's universal cDNA is prepared by reverse transcription of BioChain's universal RNA from normal human tissues using random hexamer or oligo dT primers. Total RNA is isolated using the modified guanidine thiocyanate techniques. The universal cDNA is commonly used as a standard for comparison of gene expression by real time PCR and regular PCR, and also as a gene pool for cloning genes.
Features
Made from diversified tissues for broad gene coverage Industrial production scale to minimize lot-to-lot variation High quality with no genomic DNA contamination
Applications
Gene pool for cDNA cloning
Controls for real time or regular PCR
