Small Size Genomic DNA
Introduction to Small Size Genomic DNA
BioChain's small size genomic DNAs are isolated from a wide variety of tissues by a proprietary modified guanidine thiocyanate technique. The quality and purity of genomic DNAs are tested by spectrophotometer and electrophoresis. These small size genomic DNAs can be used as PCR template and have shown better performance in digital PCR when compared to the common large size genomic DNAs. A260/280 is between 1.8 and 2.0 (detected in 10 mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.5). Contamination of RNA, polysaccharides and proteoglycans has been effectively eliminated.
