BioChain's GoldMag whole blood genomic DNA purification kit is useful for isolating genomic DNA from whole blood in single tube formats. Purification begins by the addition of a series of lysis buffer to whole blood, and then mixed with the magnetic particles in binding buffer. DNA is immobilized on magnetic particle surface. This differential binding allows DNA to be easily separated from other component within the sample using a magnetic field. After the simple washing procedure, the genomic DNA can be eluted from the magnetic particle surface.
