BioChain provides a spectrum of DNA products derived from various organ systems and tissues of the human body with different developmental stage and disease conditions. DNA materials extracted from different species of plants and animals are also available. Our DNAs derived from hard-to-find diseased tissues, such as the matched pairs of tumor tissue (both the tumor with matching adjacent normal tissues and the primary tumor with metastatic tumor tissues), are invaluable tools for discovery research and diagnostic product development. In addition to the biospecimen DNA materials, we also offer DNA extraction, purification, and analysis reagents and kits for our customers to perform the tasks on their own samples.

Genomic DNA
BioChain's genomic DNAs are isolated from over 100 different human and fetal normal tissues, human diseased and tumor tissues, mouse, rat, monkey, and plant tissues. Our genomic DNAs are provided ready to use for SNP analysis, DNA methylation analysis, copy number variation (CNV) or comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) analysis, Southern Blotting, and PCR. BioChain offers genomic DNAs from almost any tissues of human, mouse, rat, monkey, other animals, and plants. Getting genomic DNAs from BioChain will save you valuable research time to immediately identify genes of interest; no longer will you need to acquire tissues and isolate genomic DNA by yourself.

Dr. P (DNA, RNA, Protein) Kit
Dr. P takes its name from genomic DNA, RNA, and Protein isolated simultaneously from a single biomaterial source, such as tissue or cells. BioChain not only provide Dr. P products from a wide variety of tissues but also provides Dr. P Kit. With this kit, scientists are able to isolate genomic DNA, RNA, and protein from their own biomaterials.

Matched Pair - cDNA
BioChain's human cDNA matched pair products include: Primary Pair (PP), Primary and Metastatic Pair (PM). PP consists of cDNAs isolated from primary tumor and its adjacent normal tissue; PM consists of cDNAs from primary tumor and corresponding metastatic tumor. cDNAs in each pair are prepared from the same donor. This product line is designed for identifying tumor-specific genes and tumor metastatic genes.

Human Stem Cell cDNA Library
BioChain's Human Embryonic Stem Cell and Stem Cell Line cDNA libraries are constructed by using an oligo dT primer-adapter and Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus Reverse Transcriptase (M-MLV RT) to prime and synthesize first strand cDNA from mRNA. After the second strand is synthesized, the double stranded cDNA is size fractionated, cloned directionally into our special vectors and transformed into T1 phage resistant E. coli. We also provide both standard and normalized cDNA libraries.
