Frozen Tissue Section

Introduction to Frozen Tissue Section

BioChain is a leading manufacturer of Frozen Tissue Sections, Arrays and Tissue Panels. Each Tissue Section is produced using proprietary sample preparation technology from the finest quality of tissue specimens. The tissues are immediately put in liquid nitrogen after being excised and then meticulously selected for exceptional quality by our pathologist. For these Tissue Sections, a single human (normal or diseased) or animal tissue is sectioned at 5 µm thickness and is carefully mounted on a positively charged glass slide. The slides are fixed and dehydrated with acetone for consistent results with in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry. Afterwards, the quality of each slide is verified by using H&E staining.

BioChain’s Frozen Tissue Sections are a remarkable tool for rapid cellular localization of DNA, RNA, and protein expression in a wide variety of tissues. A large supply of tissue organs, different disease states and multiple species are available in frozen format. We also offer customized sections from a variety of species and other organs to fit your needs. Patient demographic and disease related history is available for human tissue specimens.
