Introduction to Protein Analysis
Proteins are large biological molecules that perform a wide variety of functions in living organisms from replicating DNA to responding to stimuli. Accurate and sensitive quantification of proteins is critical to most protein experiments. We understand this well because we routinely perform Western blots and immunohistochemistry for hundreds of our protein lysates and tissue products. BioChain provides a variety of reagents for protein analysis and identification such as Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Our Attoglow Western Blot is an ultra-sensitive chemiluminescent system that allows for highly specific separation of proteins on the yacomole range. We also provide immunohistochemistry kits and many other reagents to analyze protein localization, abundance and expression within tissues, lysates, and cells.
