Tissue Analysis
and Antibodies
BioChain provides integrated product and service for
Antibody production and validation. There are broad
selections of tissue sections and tissue arrays from
vast normal or disease tissues for antibody
validation using our immunohistochemistry kit. There
are wide options of protein lysates for antibody
screening using western analyses kit. In addition,
we may offer either polyclonal antibody or
monoclonal antibody service including antibody
design, production, purification, and validation.

Frozen Tissue Array
Frozen Tissue Array is an example of Biochain's current
state-of-the-art sample preparation technology, because no
any other tissue vendors on the market can make so many
frozen tissue arrays as standard products. Frozen tissue
array is made from the same high quality tissues as used in
our frozen tissue slide products. Fresh frozen tissues are
arrayed on positively charged glass slides. Our tissue array
is one of the best products for rapid detection of gene and
protein expression in a wide variety of tissues. |
Paraffin Tissue Array
Tissue
arrays are manufactured using high-quality tissues. The
tissues are immediately fixed in formalin after being
excised, and then identified by pathologists. 64 to 96
different tissues are arrayed on a modified glass slide
after preparation with proprietary techniques. Each section
is approximately 5 µm thick. H.E. staining, immunostaining
and in situ hybridization with proliferating cellular
nuclear antigen (PCNA) antibody and P53 gene probe,
respectively, ensure the quality of tissue arrays.
BioChain's tissue array is an ideal product for rapid
cellular localization of RNA and protein expression |
Frozen Tissue Panel
5-8
different frozen tissues are arrayed on one positively
charged glass slide. The frozen tissue panels are one of the
best products for rapid detection of gene and protein
expression in a wide variety of tissues |

Frozen Tissue Section
Frozen Tissue Slides are ideal for rapidly identifying
cellular localization of RNA or protein. The tissues were
excised, immediately frozen by liquid nitrogen and then
stored in -80°C. All the tissue are pathologically
identified. A single tissue section with 5-10 µm thickness
is mounted on a positively charged glass slide. The slide is
fixed and dehydrated with cold acetone for consistent
results with in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry

Primary Antibodies
Biochain offers a variety of primary antibodies to
the research community. These antibodies cover
apoptosis, tumor markers, subcelluar markers, signal
transduction, etc. |
Secondary Antibodies
Secondary antibodies are prepared by passing IgG fractions over an
affinity column containing the appropriate immobilized antigen. This
process removes nonspecific immynoglobulins and other serum
proteins, while selecting for antibodies with high avidity and
specificity |
Conjugated Antibodies
Biochain provide both conjugated primary and
secondary antibodies. Biochain's conjugated
secondary antibodies are made from high quality
antibody and Enzyme/Hapten. They are very sensitive,
and ready to use. It can be used for any
immunoassay. BioChain's conjugated primary
antibodies can be used directly for immunostaining |
Immunohistochemistry
Immunohistochemistry or IHC refers to the process of localizing
proteins in cells of a tissue section exploiting the principle of
antibodies binding specifically to antigens in biological tissues.
Biochain's IHC kit is a convenient tool for this study |
In situ Hybridization
In situ
hybridization (ISH) is a type of hybridization
that uses a labeled complementary DNA or RNA strand
to localize a specific DNA or RNA sequence in a
portion or section of tissue (in situ), or,
if the tissue is small enough in the entire tissue.
