Biomarkers
Biomarker is a biological indicator
that signals a changed physiological state, stress,
or injury due to disease or the environment. A
biomarker can be any kind of molecule, such as DNA,
RNA, antigen or antibody, indicating the existence,
past or present, of living organisms. For examples,
the presence of an antibody may indicate an
infection; an elevated serum level of
prostate-specific antigen is a
biomarker for prostate cancer.
BioChain provides biomarker detection primers and
antibodies that can be used for detecting DNA, RNA,
microRNA or protein expression in tissues, serum or
plasma with high specificity and sensitivity
